What do you think of all the handwashing reminders in public bathrooms? Does it make a difference in how you feel if there is one posted at your workplace? What about in restaurants?

Honestly, I don't really notice them; handwashing after using the bathroom is just ingrained into my being! LOL Aren't such signs reqiuired by law, especially if the bathrooms are also used by the employees of the establishment?

I personally find the handwashing reminders insulting. I think it is perfectly okay for grade schools but not for anything else. If a person hasn't learned by the time they are an adult to wash her hands after using the toilet-why would a reminder on the bathroom door make any difference?

I know they are required by law to be there.  They don't really bother me.  I often think that if a person who is old enough to work there doesn't feel they need to wash their hands, I don't want them serving me and I hope the sign guilts them into washing their hands.  I'm part Itialian, guilt works for me.  Most of my city is part Italian so maybe the guilt works for them too.  LOL!

I guess I don't really notice them either.  Handwashing is an automatic thing so they don't influence me either way.

I think that any reminders regarding health issues are important. Too many walk out of bathrooms without washing their hands. So cudos for reminders.
