Yep, my daughter's condition was confirmed today by an endocrine surgeon. She did have a biopsy done also, but DR thought the nodules were benign. What can anyone tell me about their journey with Hashimotos?

That's young for your daughter to have this but thyroid problems do hit at any age.
I don't have either of the autoimmune (Hashi's or Graves') forms but mine is just hyperthyroidism.

Autoimmune diseases are rampant in my family. Celiacs, Lupus, and...wait for it...Hashimoto's are in every branch. Good news....Bri's biopsy did come back benign!! Yay
The biopsy results are good news.
