Lauren Sue,

The blood pressure problem has been pretty much resolved although I'm still finding myself feeling pretty tired a lot of the time. Could be just the time of the year... It seems every fall I go through some type of "slow up" mixed with a little anxiety and discomfort. I've always said I that have that "light deficiency" thingy going on and it's just because of the shorter days!

Chris, We have that scratchy throat/cold thingy going around here now. Miranda is home from school and Joey wishes he were home from school but he missed so much with the stomach bug we're hoping he can just make it through the day and stay in school. Ugh, so tired of one thing after another plaguing this house! As for his broken foot, the novelty of the cast wore off quickly and he can't wait for the next 5 weeks to fly by so he can get his durn cast off!

Marty,
We just had the clocks "Fall Back" and sun sets before 5pm now. UGH, way too much darkness. I do like how easily I can geup in the morning with the early sunshine aiding in my energy but I'm pretty much ready for bed by 5pm these days. If only i could get the kids to go to bed that early, LOL.

Maybe we should've been bears. they got it right, hibernating all winter!

You're right Lauren Sue. Hibernation sounds pretty darn good to me

Hey Marty, That's great you get to go visit your Mom next week in Florida. Hopefully you'll have lots of sunshine while you're visiting her and you can store some of that and bring it home to pull out out on a cold, cloudy, snowy day back home this winter . I do enjoy this early morning time where I have the house to myself and I can get a head start on my day before Dan wakes and begins to drain mommy of every ounce of energy left. Right now it's in the 30's. I'm gonna have to heat up the car before we leave for school. By 9 it should be in the 50's and we'll max out at 59 degrees and the sun sets before 5. UGH. I miss my afternoon sun and late sunsets.

I'm not liking the early evening darkness either.

Chris,

after Marty smuggles you onboard during a layover in Indianapolis, he needs to have another lay over at any of the 3 airports in my vacinity (Regan National, Dulles or BWI) so he can smuggle me on board with you. Shoot, I'm sure we could both wear some dog costumes and ride in a pet cage ;-) But I don't think they serve us peanuts and drinks down in the luggage compartment, so perhaps we should just get our own tickets and meet Marty down there in sunny Florida. Ruben can meet us there, too. I wonder if he's allowed to bring his fishing gear on the plane or if that'll have to be checked with his luggage.

I think we could all use some warm sunshine
