I finally managed to get logged in! I didn't realize I had to go to the iVillage home page to do so. I've always been able to login right from the Parkinson's board main screen....! This is a change I didn't pick up on....!
Now the "HOWEVER" part...!
1. What am I doing wrong when it comes to vewing posts? I'm used to seeing the number of replies as being only the number that I haven't viewed. I appears that the number I see is the total # of replies to the original message!
2. When I view a post I can only see the initial post and none of the replies....!
3. I'm really confused and a little frustrated...!
BTW: I couldn't get anywhere using Internet Explorer or Google Chrome......! Both left me in the ozone several times. I will continue to keep trying with IE only because that's my 'browser of choice" - good luck everyone!

Hi Marty,
There does seem to be problems for those using IE. The tech team is working on it now. The option to mark messages as read/unread is not functioning at this time but has been reported.
I personally switched to Firefox and am able to cruise around and post/view with no issues so if it is an option, you may want to switch over until the IE issues are corrected.

NOTE: When I clicked "POST" the screen seemed to shift a little and I thought I'd missed the icon so naturally, being impatient, I clicked again! Sorry for the double post folks!! My error in being in a hurry! This nearly happened again on my "Edit" of this however I exercised more patience this time!
(No spell check though - sorry for any errors in spelling...)
Yay! I can post! But I can't click on the number to skip to the most recent posts. But at least I am finally back on here.

Hey-great to see you are back. Once they get all the really big things fixed (like the IE log in problem and the error messages) they are going to start tweaking things like read/unread and other things like that.

BTW: It seem progress is being made with our issues of viewing the latest messages. When I selected this thread to see your post it took me right to it. I then paged down to read your response to Chris and realized all the preceeding post were in ascending order (?) above the new post...!
I realize this is not a priority but I do hope eventually the "spell check" option is restored here - I really need it!
