HI Everyone,

It's been a while since we have heard from some of you. How are you doing? Is there anything exciting happening in your life right now?

Good to see your post Karla! I've thought about sending you a message howver keep hoping things will somehow return to at least a level of being comfortable with this website. I've gotten tired of whining about stuff and getting no where.

My biggest complaint is that it doesn't seem as if anyone really cares about this board. Chris hasn't been able to log in at all - no matter what browser she uses. She says she has contacted iVillage about this and still can't get any help.  I've been able to log in using 'firefox' however I have to login every time no matter if I was just here a few minutes prior. Ruben has has some difficulties as well.

Nothing is even close to the way it was or it should be. When I reply to a post I can't see the post and have to open another tab in order to see it as I write my reply.

When I open iVillage using IE I get a very neat and orderly overview of the board - unfortunately, no matter how many times I try - I can't login. With Firefox the appearance is very messy looking and I have to login in a certain way in order to do a reply. There is no option to login on the initial screen what so ever. It's just cumbersome...!

I just don't have a feeling that this board is too important to anyone at iVillage and it might be easier to just let us go... No hard feelings - but a lot of disappointment on my part. I've enjoyed being a small part of this board for ten years now and it seems such a shame to it go this way!

HI Marty, I have not seen any messages by Chris. Can you have her contact me directly? allhealthcm@mail.ivillage.com We are finding that a password reset is helping many people who for some reason are not able to log in at all.

This message board and community are very important to us. The entire iVillage site has been experiencing technical issues due to the database problems. iVillage is in the process of moving servers and working on deleting data which should solve the performance problems. It has taken longer than we had hoped but it is still being worked on. I know this has been very frustrating for many members but we have not given up and hope you don't either. :-)

Sincerely,

Karla

Thanks Karla.

I passed your message along to Chris and all others that I have addresses for. We'll see what  happens.

BTW: I tried resetting my password using IE however I got the same response. "You are not authorized to post comments." - Very frustrating considering I prefer using IE - I realize it's my problem that I'm using an unsupported version of IE however it's always worked just fine and still does for all else I use it for.

Anyway, we will just have to be patient here and see what happens....  Firefox works and thats good even though I don't care for it...

Thanks again for all your help and concern. It is appreciated!

It's been hard I agree but hopefully people will come back!

I have had trouble logging in to and I know others have to.

When I get frustrated I try to wait and come back later.

I have been here at ivillage a long time and definitely seen some changes.

Hoping things will get fixed and we will ALL be back and others will find their way here.

Hi Lorie,

iVillage is in the process of moving the entire site to different servers. Once the process is completed the rest of fixing the boards will follow.

Hope this helps!
