I've just turned 17, and I've been in and out of hospital, with extremely heavy bleeding when on periods, however they seem to occur whenever they wish, my last one was in December, of last year. Recently, I headed back to the hospital with super bad pains, in my right abdominal quater. They found multiple gallstones, and said i'd be put on a waiting list to have my gallbladder out. They performed ultrasound scans in hospital, and told me to return 2 weeks later. I was expecting to be told, it was just gallstones, and nothing else. However, she sat me down and told me I had multiple bursting ovarian cysts, and confirmed chronic ovarian disease. I've not yet seen a specialist on my treatment options, and what the future might hold for me. I've not actually spoken to anyone who has also been diagnosed, and I'd just like some re-assurance or maybe just some advice from another sufferer. Anything would be helpful, anything at all!
