Go off BC Pills?

Hi,

I have been on BC pills since my early 30s. My doctor initially put me on them because I had very heavy and painful periods. The pill has been a godsend and I still take it even though I am 52 now.

I was taken off BCPs very early in life as what was on the market was not recommended for use for more than a couple of years for women of my blood type!

Hello, Thank you for your post, I found it interesting. I am in my mid 40's and have had very heavy periods for 6 years now. I've considered going on the pill just to help with the bleeding. Can you tell me which BC pill you are taking? Also, do you have any side effects from the pill? Thank you ~
