Best thing for a stomach virus?

There has been a terrible puky diarhrea stomach bug going round the family for a couple of weeks now. My sister said a nurse at her work said warm flat sprite is the best thing to take for something like that but i read somewhere warm coke was the best. My mother says ice chips and gaterade. Which is it?

Flat (warm) ginger ale was always my family's favorite. But I think most ginger ale these days doesn't have much ginger in it. Ginger tea is also very good for the upset tummy. I think really any clear liquid is good. No milk products or solid food until things start to settle down.

Warm Sprite is what I've always heard as well. Blech- just thinking about the tummy bug makes me feel yucky. Hopefully your family feels better soon!

The best thing is warm sprite and water (a half of warm water and a half of warm sprite) and don't eat anything for a little while. and get plenty of rest.
