That is interesting. I never thought of your menstrual cycle affecting your digestive issues, but I don't know why not, since it affects so many things.

I think healing of an ulcer is probably an individual thing, which would depend at least partly on the severity of the ulcer. I take it since you are being scoped soon that your problem has not been definitively diagnosed yet?

No, but I have that one tell tale symptom, feeling full before I finish eating and gnawing hunger.

I do not think this is GERD any longer.

I got my period last night and today I feel good, NO STOMACH issues at all..

Okay Ive posted on several board on IVilliage and it takes days or weeks for responses so i get the hint that IVillige is dead...

Sadly it seems not to be as active as it once was. It is mostly my busy work and volunteer schedule that keeps me from coming around more often. I do try to reply to all posts as soon as I can, but I do not get here every day.

If your probelm is IBS then absolutely your symptoms can get worse around the time of your period. IBS can flare with the hormone fluctuations, which seems like a cruel joke I know. I'm not sure about other issues, but often other digestive issues can be accompanied by IBS.
