Hi, 5 years ago I had pain in my side and after tests I had my gallbladder out.

Ive been having shoulder pain (left) for years too that my Dr chalked up to laying on my left side propped up on my elbow on the couch watching tv.

I never felt the same before or after having my gallbladder out.. i always have issues wiith fats, NEVER with fiber or veggies, my bwel movements are extremely REGULAR and soft. Sometimes I can eat a salad and in 1 hour it wll go right thru me.

the past year Ive had major tummy issues, nausea and acid and major esophaeal pain (worse before my period) I was certain I had bile reflux, or barretts esophagus. GI Doc scoped me in October and said everything looked NORMAL and HEALTHY and he was diagnosing me with something called FUNCTIONAL DYSPEPSIA and I could eat what I wanted that its due to Hormones and nerves (I have major anxiety) I was given Carafate and Proto9nix and after starting them I felt like a new person, felt great for months.

I have no nausea, no pain except for he past month when I had really bad PMS (Im in Perimenopause) and I stopped the Soy Supplements cause I was having sore boobs. After stopping the Soy, my tummy got really bad and has been for over a week.

Yesterday was horrible. I felt like I had sour stomach all day and then later I felt like I had eaten raw bread dough that was rising in my stomach and pushing stuff up my esophagus. Im on the last 2 days of my period

I read this on Wiki

delayed gastric emptying (Gastroparesis)

Yesterday I had low fat french toast (No syrup or butter) yogurt, whole wheat bread, brocolli, fish and whole grain cookies and apple sauce.

It is possible that you could have gastroparesis. I would recommend talking to your doctor about doing a gastric emptying study, which should give you a more definitive answer.

We have had other people post here before about gastroparesis and it seems there is a wide variety of symptoms. Most seem to have nausea or a feeling of fullness or bloating.
