My mother has Alzheimers. I live 23 miles from where she is and I visit her at least every other day. I have time for little else. I watch as she declines a little more each time and it's heartbreaking. But what can I do? She needs someone to care for - and about - her. My stress level is through the roof, to say the least. I'll add more in my next post, but I'm wondering if anyone here may be dealing with the same that I am.

Hi Geri,

I feel so bad for what you are going through. I've sort of been there. My father's health slowly declined over a period of several years and it got to the point where mom could no longer take care of him alone so myself and my 5 siblings intervened as best as we could.

Hi, Geri, how have you been doing yourself?
