Let's see:

Last month I almost got hired for a position: they would have hired me but decided they needed to change the position so they weren't able to hire me.

This month: "everyone loved you. We wish we had two open positions but we have to hire our internal candidate. I am so sorry. We know you are a perfect fit for our organization so please continue to watch us for new positions"

So, I do everything right and everyone always loves me, but I don't get hired? Um, am I missing something here? I lose jobs, not because I wasn't right for it, but because the company can't get their act together and decide about the position before starting the hiring process?

And because I've been so stressed lately with applying for jobs and going on interviews and worrying about everything, on top of losing my internet during the week I was supposed to file my unemployment benefits, I lost out on 2 weeks of UI payment... fun fun fun.

oh, and the other day on the way to an interview, i got a flat tire and spent the rest of the day running around and waiting to find a place that could fix my tire... fun fun fun

and all this is just within the past day! I can't even begin to describe how many downfalls there has been within the past weeks, months, and years. So, I am really, really curious and stumped as to just when this "better thing" will come along because it has been nothing but disappointment for a long time.

Aww, I'm sorry, it does sound like things have been stressful lately.

In my own life, I've learned that the "better things" come when I'm least expecting them. Hopefully that will happen for you as well.

I'm so sorry for the way things are going right now.
