This weekend at least 10 people were killed in a huge pile up on I-75 in Florida. Have you ever been in a situation where suddenly you couldn't see the road while driving? What did you do?

I remember a rain storm on the Ohio turnpike halfway between Cleveland and here. DH pulled off the road until it let up.

But never like they were reporting for this.

By the way, we used to live in Gainesville and know the area well. That is even scarier!

I've never been involved in an accident like that, but have been on the highway in whiteout conditions where it was impossible to see. I pulled over to the side of the road, and when we pulled back onto the highway we were lucky that everyone was being reasonable and going slowly.

I've been in white out conditions when I lived in Chicago and depending on where I was going and where I was at I either pulled over or crept slowly praying the entire time.

About 11 years ago I drove from Chicago to Reddington Beach, Florida and it poured the entire way.
