I have been housekeeping for many years and cant believe how many new csutomers i have gotten lately. My husband and i planned for the worse when people started losing jobs thinking that my services would be the last thing on earth someone wanted to pay for. Now i am busier htan ever. What do you think it is? Maybe people are dlealing with enough stress and dont want to dleal with housework?

I would believe it! Since the economy tightened up several of my co-workers have been cut and suddenly I've found myself doing twice as much work. I'm exhausted by the time I get home each day and it is worth it to me to pay someone to come tidy up a few times a week rather than to have to deal with it myself. It doesn't cost nearly as much as people think. Finding someone dependable is the hardest part.

Maybe it's because some previous stay-at-home parents have found it necessary to return to work. I know one of my friends who runs a cleaning service is experiencing a bit of an increase for that reason.
