Ew-this is so gross! According to the Associated Press, " A South Carolina county's deputies say a McDonald's employee spit in two customers' cups of iced tea after the drinks were returned because they weren't sweet enough."

Can you imagine being the customer??

If you worked in a restaurant and saw another person tampering with food like that, would you tell or try to stop the food from going out?

GAG is right. I have worked in restaurants for years and I have seen people spit in food and serve it (and worse things). I would agree -don't go to a restaurant and eat where someone you know and don't exactly see eye to eye with works. Your food might have

Oh, yuck! If I saw someone do that, you bet I'd say something! This is always a fear of mine when eating out. My family is super picky and always has to alter the order in some way (everyone but me!). I'm sure it happens more often than I'd like to know about. LOL!

That's so gross! I've heard of worse things though, you don't eat a restaurant where you've been nasty to the employees in the past.

I read an article in Reader's Digest about what the servers won't tell you. I don't know why people are rude to them to begin with, they're just doing their job and they aren't always going to be bright and cheery, just like all of us. But an employee doing this - it's just disgusting. If I worked there I couldn't just keep quiet about it, that is for sure.
