Thanks Karla!

My daughter had surgery on the 21st, and is home recuperating. She had a partial thyroidectomy to remove a substantially sized nodule. Other than being frustrated that she can't sing for 2-4 weeks, she is doing well.

Beth, I have been following her progress.....and I am so glad its progress...I am spending Christmas in Florida with Shands hospital again. This time, funny as it seems, I am also doing the thyroid thing...I have a growth..nodule..that they want checked out. Removed after it was 1 cm...and this time it was 1.2 cm. So....Move over Bre and share the ice cream...lol. I hope I can bounce back as quickly as Bre...but my surgery wont be for a while...my doctor's baby is due TODAY. So she has a bigger growth to take care of first....lol...MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL....AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.
