HI

You remind me of my mother in law. My FIL was not a nice guy, chased women, had affairs...She decided that she would try one more time with him. He was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He was nasty mean to her then. She stayed by his side, tried to get him to eat, took him to treatments. Then he died.

She has no regrets.

Only you can decide what is best for you,.

....why did you feel the need to take a swipe at the board?...no support?...look around, the board is dead because people are busy with summer...if what you want to hear is just what you want to hear, you will feel unsupported everywhere you turn...when you post that you are miserable but you don't want to give up your material things, then...what is left to do but stay...

So sorry for your situation, I can imagine what that must be like, from my short lived bout (only a few years, but I see the future) with my significant other who is a substance abuser (more like a substance enjoyer, I could tell him kool aid gave a helluva buzz and he would start chugging it, waiting for it to hit), but I digress, easy to look back and think "what if" but you can only work from right now, and only you will be the one who has to live with your decision, i am sure everybody respects that, hang in there....
