What about mouthwash?

Folks, ever since my DH gave up drinking, there have been no alcoholic beverages in our home.  But I'm wondering, what about mouthwash?  We use a generic version of whitening Listerine.  I think he could easily get drunk on that if he so chose.  Should I buy special mouthwash?  He swears he will never drink mouthwash, and so far the bottles in the bathroom have not been disturbed (I check safety seals, levels, brands [in case he tries to replace a bottle- I confuse the matter with different brands], everything.

OTOH, Alanon teaches that we can't control drinking.  Fair enough.  But, just where do we draw the line?

TIA,

Hi Beth,
Yes, he could drink the mouthwash, but he isn't. If HE feels safer using alcohol free, then buy it. If he isn't concerned, then you should try not to be. I don't worry about mouthwash, but I am extra careful about Nightquil and cough syrup.
