(((Katie)))

It's wonderful that your sister is helping keep James alive in her children's hearts. :)

Hi Katie,

it is very hard but also wonderful that your James is still part of their lives and always will be. The pain can be hard to take though.

Actually Amy she doesn't really say anything to them.. I think since I talk about him still they feel comfortable talking about him when they do and to me. They still have pictures of him in their rooms which I love.

Thanks Promise! Its hard hearing some of the things, but glad to know they haven't forgotten especially given their ages. I think all of us on this board had someone special and it shows in our posts, I read the one you wrote about your Luke and I teared up. Something special you had and still share. I think we all had that lucky time, and glad we have places to share about them!

HUGS!

I so agree with you! Everytime I hear of another young life lost, I hurt for them. No one should die before they are old and have a full life lived. I don't believe in the god's plan/everything happens for a reason because there is no reason I believe. I do know that we were lucky to share in their lives and have those memories to last us, but that sure don't help in the hard days lol. Hugs!

Thanks Promise and Katie for your comments to.

My dear husband was 62, had neuropathy, overweight and lived on cheeseburgers, fries and hot fudge sundaes.

Hugs Josie!! I never could imagine trying to date or anything either until around 11 months out. Then again I am only 27 now (dh was 57 when he died). So who knows.. If you do fine, if you never do, thats fine too. Just live in the moment!!
