Life just won't quit tossing unplanned things at me. Broke a bone in my ankle/leg so have a very huge walking boot for several weeks. I am still not believing this one either. When is my life going to settle down and have some happiness in it? Josie

Thanks Amy & Promise. I was walking down the basement steps, thought I had hit the bottom but I was at least 2 steps up and went airborn and smack down onto the thinly carpeted cement floor. I did figure out how to take the "boot" on and off so I got to have a shower this morning. It is the little things in life that make one smile. walk safe ladies as the alternative isn't pleasant. love, Josie

Overall doing alright.. Its coming up 20 months, and then is his bday, the day he proposed, the day we legalized it, etc.. Just too many dates! But I did find (I mentioned on your thread! lol) I found a video James taped when he was deployed for our first Christmas as man and wife. I teared up seeing it! My friend Ally (who is also a widow!) was in town visiting and we googled our hubbies to see if anything new out there, and I found this!

It was one of those things! And he gave me a sign a few days prior to that.. SO I know he's around and still loves me which makes me smile. I am sad knowing that what all is going on he should be here and a part of. My baby will know James as their James, and guardian angel. I bought a frame the other day that says "My Hero" and will be putting a pic of James in that in the room.

I miss James dearly.. but I'm doing ok. Not too many tears.. but can't believe its been almost 2 years! How are you doing?

Oh my goodness Josie, I can't tell you how many times I've done the same thing, I know how lucky I am to have not hurt myself in the process. (((hug)))

Glad you got a shower this morning, that can sure make a person feel brand new! :)

It's those darned special days like anniversaries of special events that are sooooo hard. They will alway hurt, maybe not as bad, but they will always be there.
