Is it okay to just wish I could sleep until January 2nd?

Seven years ago my beloved sister died on December 10th. The last good conversation we had was on Thanksgiving. The season, therefore, has been quite bittersweet since then. Fast forward to last year. Just about this time my FIL was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. We muddled through and held the holidays. He and MIL, as well as my dad, were at the table here for Thanksgiving, and my girls waited to open gifts until all grandparents were at the house for Christmas.
My FIL didn't tolerate chemo and radiation well, and at the end of January he ended up in the hospital. On February 4th my dad had a massive heart attack. On February 6th, FIL was released, but on February 8th he threw a blood clot and died.
My dad went to cardiac rehab, and then home, only to have a mild stroke in June. He then rapidly faded and died in July.
So now we face the holidays. I have 2 girls who miss their grandpas, and I don't want to deal with any of this.
