It is only been 8 days but I just can't bring myself to sit down and start writing thank you cards.

If people are offended because you can't do it quickly, that is their problem.

Josie do it whever you feel that you are up to it...enlist help from a family member or a close friend.

Nobody expects you to do this right away or within a certain time-frame.

If they are offended or become offended, that is their problem, not yours hon...

Thanks for reassurning me I can take my time in so many things. So much legal stuff and the insurance appraisal guy was a jerk on the phone last night. What does he think I am glad the truck will be totalled hubby was driving? NOT. But in the same vein I won't let them pay me a penney for something worth a quarter. love to all of us grieving people. Some people have the sensitivity of a charging rhino at times like this Josie so please try not to let it add to your unhappiness. You do what you need to do as you feel you can cope with it.

Unfortunatley some people are just ignorant and like Promise said have the grace of a herd of elephants...Sorry you are having to deal with ALL of this.

Sending you a "Virtual" hug Josie...

There is nothing wrong with delegating.

Your step-son and brother-in-law can step up to the plate and help you out.

Delegating a few thank-yous is wonderful...kudos to you!

Nobody should be expecting "Anything" and if they do it's their problem.
