I still do a lot of things...go to work, run, walk the dog(minimum of 5 miles in a day), gym time if I don't run, hike, kayak, go see friends, etc. normal stuff. i have a hard time watching tv but if i can get into a program, which i haven't been able to do, then tv can help me escape.
going isn't the problem, it's just once i get there i feel i should be somewhere else.

And I so understand as I can be with lady friends eating a meal and laughing for 2 hrs, but I get to the car and crash as if hubby was alive, I would be calling him saying, on my way home.
I think it just takes time to heal a little, to let the grieiving process take place. It sounds like you are doing the best you can one day at a time. That is all any of us can go.
take care, Josie
