I have been looking for an update from you and wondered how you were doing.

Thank you for asking!  I'm doing well.  I feel strong and positive.  My last round of chemo was much easier than the previous 3.  My doc reduced the oxaliplatin to help me with my gait issues I had after my third round.  My nausea is finally under control as well with a sancuso patch.  I'm able to work every other week, which allows me to keep my health insurance.  Neuropathy and extreme fatigue are my primary symptoms after chemo.

I've been dealing with my grief over the loss of my husband more lately.  My house feels empty without him.  Honestly just writing that makes me cry, but I know I will eventually be able to move forward.  It's only been 6 months, and I think dealing with my cancer diagnosis put my grief into the background for a little while.

Enough.  Again thanks for asking about me.

I have a friend who is not doing well with the chemo (breast cancer). She has diabetes and she's had to be hospitalized several times due to a serious drop in her sugar after chemo.

I am glad to hear that you are doing good and I am going to mention the sancusco patch to her in case her doc hasn't suggested it. Maybe it will help.

I'm doing well thank you! I'm handling all the difficulties I've faced this last year and a half with a strength I didn't know I possessed. I feel strong and positive and ever hopeful. Thanks for asking.
