I thought this was a really informative read for those who are considering breast implants!  Does the type of implant and where it's placed make a difference to you?

Thanks for that information. I am just starting to think about getting breast implants and don't know where to begin. I'd love to know what kind everyone has and what they think of them. Would you recommed them or wish you had chosen something different?

Glad it was of some help and welcome, Jenna!

I agree that getting started an be a bit overwhelming.  My best advice would be to just read, read and read some more.  Go to a couple of consults (more than one!) and talk to the surgeon about what he recommends -- although if you two disagree, move on!  Also, what really helped me was looking at lots of before-and-after pictures of women who had relatively the same body and height that I do.  It gave me a better perspective on how big I wanted to go.

After my research, I was convinced that I should get 360ccs (to get a small D cup) and the doctor said that, with my frame and height, I should instead get 460ccs.  It was a little intimidating seeing how big the implant was lol, but I'm so glad I took his advice because he was right.

I have 460ccs silicone implants placed over the muscle.  (I can elaborate on why he placed them over the muscle instead of under if you're interested)  I'm VERY happy with the final result, and I love the way the silicone feels -- it's so natural and no ripples!

Anyway, welcome to the board and hope you'll stick around for more!  :smileyhappy:
