WooHoo for you!! Bra shopping for the first time is a total thrill! Good luck in deciding as now there are so many choices for us 'average' sized girls. (Never thought that would be me!!!) I went from a 40DDD to a 38C and it is so great! I used the thick cocoa butter with Vitamin E and would rub it it in my hands and then massage it into my scars. I think it really helps to heal and lessen the look of them. Also massaging the areas, helps with scar tissue build up. I had that in one area near my nipple and for the first 2 mammograms after, had to have ultrasounds to make sure it was just that. THat was a little scary, but all is good now and it has pretty much gone away. Plus the cocoa butter makes them nice and soft and now you want to treasure these new beauties!!
Good luck with the bra shopping and let us know what size you started/ended up with!!

bra shopping and bathing suit shopping is so much fun now. you might cry the first time you put a smaller, cuter bra on. i admit i did. LOL... i massage them with cocoa butter every time i get out of the shower. im 11 months out and i dont feel any scar tissue any more. my scars are now white, but the end under my underarm is still kinda red. i massage that one the longest. good luck and happy bra shopping!! : )
