Surgery was yesterday at 3pm.
What a positive message! So glad you are doing so well. I can only imagine how taking the bandages off affected you. Luckily, I was sitting down.
It is amazing, isn't it, to see how small and perky they are? I really cannot remember my boobs being like that....maybe when I was 20! Just wait and see how they start to take a nice shape and soften. You will so love them even more. And no back pain! Sweet!! It is awesome how fast that goes away.
So happy for you. Now take it easy and don't over do it!!
Good for you Trish!
So happy to hear such a positive, happy email!!! Sounds like all is good and you feel exactly how I felt afterwards; in total amazement that they were no longer facing south! It is so nice you don't have the back pain anymore and I think the swelling and soreness on the sides will go away, if it already hasn't since you last posted.
Yeah, and the nerves healing does give you some of those weird tings and twangs. And they do catch you off guard, don't they??!! They might last for awhile.
I started walking pretty much right away, of course I had to watch moving my arms, but I tend to get antsy, so I was strolling the block by day 3, even for just a short time. I figured I didn't have surgery on my legs and I needed to get out!!!
I too have been having a time getting used to the new boards and navigating myself back here, but there are lots of great women that run them that will help with any questions.
ok, I'm just under 2 weeks post op not sure if it's due to mother nature or I'm doing to much or both, but I can feel a lot more stretching feeling

OMG, I haven't had BR, but I sure felt that exact feeling when I lost a lot of weight a few years back, like a kid in a candy store.
The itching is getting better.
