Called the PS and they said it's a common problem. It's probably just one of those absorbable sutures that didn't quite absorb fully yet. Hot compresses and some motrin if the pain is unbearable and it should clear itself up in the next few days.
I'm already on antibiotics for a sinus infection and double ear infection so i think my body thinks it's time to fall apart : ()

I'm so glad you got some reassurance from your PS and that it seems to be a fairly common problem. I'd have been worried too.

The lump is still there, but the bruise type of feeling is mostly gone plus the red spot too. I'm just going to keep an eye on it, plus mention it to my other doc at my appt on Wed

Well glad it is something simple. I had issues like this also. I had alot of scar tissue around my nipples, causing 'lumps' to show up on mammograms. A little worrisome for sure, but an ultrasound and follow up mammograms and a lot of cocoa butter and massaging, they have gone down considerably. Still, I would do it all again to have these wonderful 'girls"!!!
