When did you consider a reduction?

My teenage daughter is in a DD cup and I am very worried. How much larger could she get and at what point would a breast reduction be a consideration? Thank you for your help.

Hi. How old is your daughter? I had a friend who was in a DD cup by the time she was 17. She was experiencing back problems and self-esteem issues (constant teasing) and was all around miserable. She learned of breast reduction surgery from her OB/GYN (back before the days of internet) and she had her reduction at 21 years old. She is now 46 and to this day just as happy as ever that she got it done.
Personally, if it were my daughter, I'd start with the OB/GYN and get some facts and a professional opinion. Also, be sure that her breast size is bothering her-not you. Some girls like having really large breasts.
