Hello! I haven't been around or a few weeks because I am in the process of cleaning out my basement. I have decades worth of junk stored in there and by the amount of time I have already spent and how little of a dent I have made, it's probably going to take me decades to get it cleaned out. My ultimate plan is to remodel the basement and make it into a guest area.

I am doing okay in the anger area. I've been talking to someone and started on antidepressants. My sister says she can tolerate being around me more now so I think that is a positive sign.

How is everyone else doing?

I can appreciate the cleaning out stuff.  My parents are in the process of moving and I've been helping them and they definitely have a lot of things.  In fact things I thought I had given away, I found my mother had stashed away somewhere.

Glad to hear things are improving with your mood.

Aside from the moving stuff, things are ok.  I've had some fairly anxious moments but then moments when I'm much braver.  I'm trying EMDR or at least the pre-process of it.  Hopefully it will help reduce the anxiety more. I'm realizing how closed in I am because of the anxiety.

My husband and I did this to our garage a year or so ago. It took us the better part of a year to get everything done. We took it one section and a time and walked away when it got overwhelming. I don't even know how we got all the stuff in there that was in there. We took the items from each section and separated things into give away and throw away piles. Once we got a good ways into the project, it helped encourage us to keep going. We can now use our garage again and it turned out to be well worth the effort.
