As I was reviewing the news today I came across the following headline "Johnny Depp Apologizes for Rape Comment in Vanity Fair"

It seems as though while being interviewed by Vanity Fair he compared having to do photo shoots to being raped.

No, you aren't alone. Rape is so invasive and personal. Some people need to get a clue. Hopefully Mr. Depp has.

Do you know I have probably been guilty of using the word in an inappropriate manner without much thought to how that might affect others. If I actually think about what the word means, I would certainly not use it again in that manner, but often we speak without giving much thought to the weight of our words.
