I'm not really comfortable talking about the details right now but I'm having a rough day.

If you are reading this, how are you doing today?

Hey Zoe. I know this reply comes several weeks after you posted, but I just wanted to respond and see how you're doing now. I hadn't been to this board for some time until yesterday and ran out of time then to do more than I did then. I'm sorry things were difficult for you and you were reaching out and I wasn't there for you then. You didn't ask for advice and I have no idea where you are in all of this, as I posted to someone else yesterday, so it's hard to know what would be helpful for you. I just hope this day finds you better. ((((Zoe)))) hugs to you.

I'm actually doing okay for today. My life has been on an up and down path, going back and forth, for many, many years, but slowly I've gotten through a lot of the SA issues. I still have many other issues that wouldn't have been there if it hadn't been for the SA, and the SA issues still rear their ugly head at times, but it's nice to have worked through a lot of that and be able to deal with some of the other stuff. I hope that makes sense. Working through some of my current issues aren't easy, but I've really come to know myself a lot better over time. And finally finding a hobby I get really enthusiastic and passionate about has helped me to focus on other things, sometimes even taking me out of a bad day.

I hope today is a better day for you,

That sounds really cool. I think I can understand how things look different out in the world when you are looking at the world through a photographers eyes.

I've been trying to convince myself to get involved with some sort of hobby that might actually get me out of the house but I haven't done it yet. It's great that you were able to.

I love doing something artistic. I never used to see photography as artistic, but that all changed when I got into it. I'd also really liked to get into working with clay. I was in an art therapy program once and part of what I did involved using clay to create. There was something really wonderful about getting my hands dirty and feeling the clay. I've thought about taking an art class that uses clay. I admit that I was scared to death to take the first photography course.
