That is terrible. What kind of disability do you have? Can you take up jogging or something to give you something to look forward to? What about taking long walks. That always helps me when I am feeling lonely. What about taking up some sort of hobby like knitting or something or going to the library and get involved in a reading group. YOu don't really have to sit around and cry because there are some inexpensive things you can find to do.

Oh and if your son does not wnat to come visit you then stop trying to get him to. He will come when he is ready.

Welcome to our board!!

I am sorry to read you are lonely where you currently live.

I was wondering if there is any low income apartments in the city where your son lives?

Even big cities usually have some low income places to live.  And since you recieve SSI, you may qualify for some other services, so that you could live back in your hometown.

Any ideas?

I know it is no fun living where there is no family or friends.  You can call them, right?

Are you still feeling suicidal?
