Back again and wondering what's new

Hi all!

I know I'v tried to come back (to the boards and this woe) before, but my recent weight gain is going to be my motivation to stick with it again.

So, I'm wondering what new foods are allowed. There are so many new products since I started SBD back in 2003 and even since I started to fall off this woe. Don't get me wrong, I am still make lots of great food choices - I just make a lot of bad ones too!

I noticed recently some convenience foods in Costco -- chicken meatballs, green smoothies, etc. I didn't make a note of the brands, but I'd like to know if anyone is familiar with these or other new products at Costco or elsewhere that will make my return to Phase 1 a little easier.

Hope to catch up with all my old friend soon.

Hugs,
Karen

I'm finally returning to the board, too!

My eating has definitely taken a turn (or 2) for the worse, but it's not as bad as it could be.  At least that what I keep telling myself.  And since my clothes still fit, motivation is harder to find to change the little things -- like midnight snacks and not enough sleep.

My bigger problem is exercising.  If it's not nice enough outside to walk on my breaks at work, I don't exercise.  (Unless you count all the tapping action my fingers do playing games on my phone.)

Hi Everyone!

I'm back again too after what has been literally.. at least 5 years!  I didn't post all that much back then- mostly just my journals- but I do remember everyone on this thread- it's so comforting to see you all checking back in.

The great news is I wrote & starred in a musical that just closed off-broadway to excellent reviews!  The bad news is all the stress from that threw me into the worst eating spiral I've had in a long time-- plus having no time for exercise.  It's amazing how those pounds can creep up.  After a couple months of horrific eating my cravings are all back-- which clearly means it's time for some Phase 1.  :smileyhappy:

I'm happy to see much hasn't been updated food wise.  This really is an amazing plan and even during the time I wasn't necessarily "doing" the SBD, the principals do stay ingrained in the back of my mind.

I plan on starting my food journal with phase one tomorrow.  I'm really thankful this board is here and you ALL have been so inspiring to me- thank you for that.  Here we go again!

Love,

Catherine
