Cheated!

As a college student, Phase 1 isnt necessarily the easiest to master during the stress of exam week! I've been following the program perfectly, until tonight at dinner when I thought I could handle some dessert and it turned into a little more than I had planned to eat. Do i need to edit my plan now, or can I just continue on Phase 1 and continue a few days past the 2 week mark.?

Hi,
There's no need to alter the plan. Only stay on phase 1 for 2 weeks and then move onto phase 2 as planned. If you find that doing phase 1 is too difficult for the entire 2 weeks, feel free to move into phase 2 earlier. It's far better to stay on the plan in phase 2 than feel deprived and struggle through phase 1 and then give up.
Good luck with your exams and keep us posted on your progress.

You don't need to continue Phase 1 past the two week mark - in fact its highly recommended not to since you aren't eating fruit or carbs during phase 1, which isn't good nutritionally on an extended basis.
I'd just look at this as a learning opportunity and monitor cravings more closely at the beginning of phase 2.

Oops posted at the same time as Cathy.
As a university student myself, I would recommend that you plan the meals you are having for the rest of phase 1 carefully, so that there is little opportunity to feel like you've cheated.
