I hope everyone made out OK in the big Blizzard over the weekend!  We were very lucky to have only had our power flicker a few times.  Digging out of 2 ft of snow and 3-4 ft of drifts here in Massachusetts was a chore, though!

Meatless Monday!

Breakfast: slice of crockpot fritatta w/ broccoli, tomatoes and onions; sliced peaches (canned - NSA/splenda kind); glass of skim milk

Cup of decaf w/ FF HH and S&L

Snack: Light & Fit yogurt

Lunch: Tomato, basil, and fresh mozzarella on a ww sandwich thin; homemade tomato-vegetable soup

Snack: Cara Cara orange - yum!

Dinner: Spinach-Artichoke stuffed portabellos with ww orzo (making this up as I go along); mixed greens w/ EVOO and vinegar; glass of skim milk

Exercise: Cardio Funk (FitTv workout)

Hi everyone,

I've been trying my hand at tracking my calories on MyDailyPlate (what an eye-opening experience that is!), and haven't had time to basically journal in 2 places.  That's why I've been MIA for a bit.

It's going well - and we'll see how well on Friday when I weigh in.  While SB doesn't require us to count calories, I had to try something to shake things up.  As many of you know, the scale doesn't budge very cooperatively for me, so I'm trying something different.  I'm still very much 'on the beach' - in additon to counting calories.

I'll try to check in from time to time to say Hi and share (hopefully) my progress!

Thank you!  It's going really well so far!  In 2 weeks, I've lost 4lbs, so I'm happy with that.

I use this recipe for my Soup-Bowl Cabbage Rolls, using either lean ground turkey or beef (or a mix of the 2), brown rice, and beef stock, which really gives the sauce a deeper, richer flavor.

Enjoy!

Hi Amy,

Congrats on the 4 pounds gone. I think counting calories is very eye-opening.  And, although not required on South Beach, they really do count.

Congrats on the 4lb loss!  I've been counting calories, too, but am still stalled.

Thanks, Cathy and Cammy!  I'm at 7 lbs lost now, but haven't been able to exercise since having surgery on my toe a couple weeks ago.  Still, I'm motivated to keep going!Laughing

Cammy, I'm sure you'll break the stall.  You eat really mindfully, so it's probably just temporary.
