We're going to be traveling on Wednesday, I usually pack us sandwiches but with being on P1, I'm not sure what to pack. I can't really eat a salad in the car too well :).

Thoughts? Or any good fast-ish food places (I'm thinking Subway or Quiznos not McD's)

Wendy's chili is always a good choice at a fast food stop. You can also make sure that you have a cooler packed with great options. Cottage cheese, string cheese, a portion of nuts, a can of v8, a package of deli meat might get you through depending on how long your car ride is. Here is our recommended fast food list to help you make the best choices:

A small cup of Wendy's chili over a side salad (order them separately, then you combine them) is my favorite fast-food option.

Thanks for the idea! The kids LOVE Wendy's and we love the dollar menu so that might be our stop. :)

I'll read through the link too.
