Question about dairy...

A few years ago I went on WW without much success.. I remember asking the leader why in the world I had almost no weight loss when I wasn't going over my points, and she said it was because I was eating too much dairy, especially cheese. I remember in particular she said I may as well "take that cheese and slap it straight on my thighs.:" LOL
So if I understand correctly I can have cheese on SB, as long as it's either fat free or reduced fat? And it won't go straight to my thighs? LOL I hate drinking milk plain, and I can't have chocolate powder to mix in it in my house or else I'll sit down with a spoon and eat it LOL, so my only other option is yogurt. However I'm worried I'm going to not lose weight from having too much dairy..
