dyk we (family group) got this email from my Granny (my mom's mom) this morning. Bob is my Shenar (mom's dad) --- Jake is the spoiled rotten dog!!!

dyk i replied that I Was laughing too hard to be of any help

We have problem at our house. Jake ate something that upset his stomach-big time-. After cleaning up several throw-up spots—all on carpet or furniture and in several different rooms— I had to strip two beds down to the mattress, blankets (including the electric one), sheets, mattress pad and one pillow and washing and drying all of that then remaking the beds ; Then a $135.00 vet bill. He is feeling much better but Bob and I aren’t doing so well. Every time he barks we have to fumigate the room/house. We locked him out of our bedroom last night so we could breathe. Our ladies card group is playing here tonight and I can’t decide if I should call and change locations of hope for the best. What do you suggest? Bob plans to issue those face masks you use for mowing, painting etc to each one as they arrive. I am hoping the odor goes away. We have used up two cans of deodorant spray so far.

dyk, I love it!!!

dyk, I'm tempted to print it out & put it on the "Tax Talk" bulletin board

dyk, yes, that's the name of it. We are apparently 5 and a bulletin board is supposed to get us excited about coming to work.

dyk, I'm sorry, but a bulletin board is not the way to boost my moral.

dyk, Jennie I wonder if having a very plain, bland diet and then slowly adding things back would help?

dyk, (& you may hate this) what about a day or two of a raw (vegan) diet and then slowly step up...adding different things until you get to where you have a good idea of what you can & can't eat

dyk, or is it more that there's sneaky things out there?

dyk, I forget, did you have the full blown gluten test or just the gluten intolerance test? I've heard that if you just do the intolerance you can have something that looks like a gluten allergy but really isn't

Dyk yep, Isabelle definitely wore herself out on that trip. she tried get up at 5 this morning (she was coughing and gagged herself and threw up, and then thought she was up for the day). Um no, I got her back in bed and she slept until 8:30, and had two good naps.

Dyk but I'm exhausted. I've been up since about 4. Long story.

Dyk I agree with Elizabeth. If completely cutting out soy doesn't make you feel 100% better, then I'd do a total elimination diet. You can google it. Basically you eat the least allergenic foods, and once your body is back to normal, you slowly add stuff in.

Dyk it usually includes turkey, lamb, zucchini, potatoes, rice, sweet potatoes, pears, sometimes apples, yellow squash, and green beans. I think I'm forgetting some stuff though.

dyk a very plain bland diet is I think what I am going to end up with

dyk without health insurance, I've had no formal testing of any kind

dyk we just did the wheat elimination diet here at home and when we added even traces of wheat back in -- immediate problems
