Dyk and guess who's fussing ugh
DYK when you start looking, be sure the breed you are looking at is good with kids.
DYK we ruled out a couple of breeds that I thought we wanted to look at when we found out they weren't good with kids.
Jennifer
dyk and it was the "major" straw that broke the camel's back and finally ended his marriage
dyk but it was only ONE piece of the marriage breakage puzzle
dyk and so she's affair girl -- though to her face I called her Kristi.
DYK I was also wondering about the "affair girl" title.
dyk Abi's thank you card came home from Sonshine Park today and it read (her words in quotes to fill in the blanks): Dear "Chase". Thank you for "dadeing me". You made me feel "like I want to kis you on the lips" and I am so grateful. Love "Abigail Madsen".
And so I have ordered this book, because she's 8, and this is just not acceptable.

Dyk it's probably good that you don't call her affair girl to her face. ;)
dyk which I replied:
Excellent -- I was hoping by posting it that someone I knew would have
a "review" for me. When she's older we are going to use the Passport 2 Purity. I
am getting both the book (The Princess and the Kiss) and the Life Lessons from
the Princess and the Kiss as well.
She's going to get a 21 day bootcamp -- each night at bedtime we will read the
Princess and the Kiss and then do one of the 21 life lessons (devotionals).
It takes 21 days to form a new habit (supposedly) and so we're about to test
that theory. :-)
dyk my Jen-friend has amazon prime and ordered both books for me so we can start bootcamp Tuesday!! Free 2day shipping.
dyk here's what I said to that:
We have told her that God will choose her husband for her and give him to her when she is a grown up. Grown up is a relative term with much wiggle room. We have not put an age to it -- because I honestly cannot put an age to it -- we may have to lock her up if she hits teen years and a manic phase at the same time -- and she's like a dog with a bone with ANY piece of information.
For now, we are working on not giving kisses away, and we do NOT show off our bodies with tight clothes and that our hearts are for God and not boys.
Right now she's in her room journaling her prayer notes (as she calls her sticky notes to God) and asking God to please choose Chase for her to marry when she is a grown up -- he is a nice boy.
LOL I told her that was entirely and totally appropriate and that God is the right person to ask. She has authority issues (with parents/teachers/adults) but has never had any problem conceeding to the ultimate higher power.
