dyk Dek rewrote his homework so he could read it to me and is now watching Spongebob
dyk and now I'm watching Pinkabi Rose do her homework
dyk I'm so excited hahah
dyk for her vocabulary words
dyk I was helping her study and I asked her to define noise (loud sound)
dyk she said, something loud..... that goes into your ears
dyk and while most people would think that was a clever, creative answer... we know she said it like that b/c her word recall is quite deficient and she couldn't come up with the word "sound" even though she knew what she wanted to say -- and there fore she defined the definition word
dyk not efficient lol
dyk I could come get him and his scooter in the truck
dyk a friend of mine is going to be my ride to bunco
dyk I am going to make a vanilla rum and diet coke before I leave ;-)
Dyk I hope they buy it!
dyk I am drinking my rum and diet pepsi right now -- I got a ride to bunco haha
Dyk I haven't played bunco in about 10 years, but I remember it being so fun!
dyk by working at John's firm, we are both -- financially -- dependent on the same folks
dyk I would also have all of my career and personal "eggs" with him, given his high status at the firm. If something happened in our marriage, I would be single and unemployed (or employed rather awkwardly). This is fear is probably unreasonable, as I don't see divorce in my future, but you never know.
dyk I am used to my independence. I will have less if I work with John and there is no way that we won't end up working together at some point. When it comes to work, we advise each other all the time
dyk and for the more rational reasons (notes those are on bottom): John's firm is the kind of big firm, with lots of administrative crap, that I left years ago and swore I would never work for again.
dyk but to round this out with cliches: never say never.
