dyk this story makes makes so angry, and sad

dyk of course there is something fishy about this whole thing

dyk there are so many couples out there who would give anything to have a baby

dyk and then there are those who just dispose of theirs

dyk so so sad for those innocent babies

dyk there would also be alot of advantages to working at John's firm:

dyk I already know many of his colleagues (both on professional and personal levels) and have very good business relationships and friendships there

dyk the location is great. I would love to be in the heart of SF, instead of the burbs where my office is now. At this office, I would have amazing shopping and restaurants, my hairdresser and great gym options all within short walking distances. The office is on the edge of Union Square and Chinatown, right on a cable car line.

dyk the work would be interesting and plentiful

dyk they would likely allow me a much more flexible arrangement than any other new job, since they know me and know that what I have to offer makes it worthwhile

dyk and -- all joking aside -- John and I would have more time together. We would likely commute together a couple of days a week, we could have lunch together sometimes (not currently an option) and it would be easy to do City stuff together after work.

dyk, I can understand the appeal of a nice quiet Thanksgiving - even if you guys weren't currently separated

dyk, I always feel that there is to much running around during the holidays, having one of several to be nice & quiet really seems like a great alternative

dyk, did you two make it to class today?

dyk, I'm already sore

dyk, this is a double kettlebell week for me and it was just me tonight - she's always more abusive when she can focus on just me :-)

dyk, I bite the bullet & am signed up for another 6 classes. Yay!

dyk, Jaime I can see both sides of working with John

dyk, so many benefits, but I can't see myself ever doing that

dyk, but you're right, never say never

dyk, there's someone in my department who's husband works in another (related) part of our company and it seems to workout fine for them

dyk, but the lack of diversification is a problem they have
