dyk so the ladies group that I turned over to a new leader

dyk it has been dwindling and even the hostess (host home) friend of mine said she feels like she's wasting her time

dyk I am really really pissed about this

dyk it was a strong group -- and the leader hasn't been coming prepared, once didn't come at all, the childcare is all wonky -- ugh

dyk my best guess --- when the hostess steps down from hosting the group at her home each week -- end of semester, the leader will just throw in the towel and group will be no more

dyk which makes me regret stepping out with the second group

dyk so Sean told me (about his mom) that she would be worn out from hosting thanksgiving at her house for 30 people

dyk and I said, so?

dyk he goes, she's like 50 something --

dyk I said she's 52 and you don't think we'll have been worn out from traveling with 3 kids, and thanksgiving for 30+ at my granny's and yet you want us to pack up the kids and drive all the way to carollton..

dyk and I got on a little bit of a tyrade but in the end basically said that if she wasn't going to put forth the effort -- then neither were we

dyk lack of diversification is the perfect term
dyk but we'll see
dyk typing all this out earlier makes me think the pros outweigh the cons
dyk but only if my current job disappears for good
dyk I am still stunned about how much can change so fast -- a month ago we were worried that we were running out of space. Now we have laid someone off and everyone is contemplating their next move.

dyk Chrissy Field would be a bit of a trek for lunch . . . .but awfully close for after work walks!

dyk and I would be close to the Ferry Building Market -- I could even ride the Ferry when John and I commute separately,
