dyk, in case anyone was wondering how my meetings could get any more rediculous, they just did

dyk, a new daily 30 minute meeting where we are not permitted to sit

dyk, apparently sitting promotes a lack of focus

dyk, is it February yet?

dyk I hardly know where to begin with this

dyk I have a migraine that is starting to really get strong
dyk I am teaching harassment prevention training to 40 people in 3 hours
dyk this involves talking for 2 hours straight, while standing up in heels
dyk plus driving thru traffic to and from the meeting and dragging my projector a few blocks each way from the parking lot, up a flight of wooden stairs
dyk good times.

dyk I was only able to fill Sean's Rx for his bipolar med for 30 days

dyk our prescription coverage won't cover 90 days RETAIL but will directly through them

dyk but that's a 14 day turn around and faxing the script and we don't have that time. Boo.

dyk that's okay. We'll work out the 2 months before Sean's new insurance kicks in in 90 days.

dyk at ladies group today, we prayed for a friend who's 3yo fell and dislocated her elbow - badly enough that our local ER/hospital couldn't relocate it and sent her home with pain meds to go to the ortho today

dyk and she JUST posted an update -- that Leah (the 3yo) stood up and said her elbow didn't hurt anymore -- it seems to have popped back into place -- she is bearing weight on it and bending it like normal

dyk have you ever figured out how much money you bring home per day? NET not GROSS

dyk I just did Sean's old job and I started laughing.

dyk his work isn't saving much by him quitting. LOL

dyk and he's got a side job in the driveway that will more than compensate his day's pay and only take him about 2 hours. HAHA oh man.

dyk, um, I can't remember what that was about, but it's when the actual distributions (mutual funds, equities, whatever) are done

dyk, it goes record date (who owns what shares & how many), ex-date (where we get final per share amounts & the money goes out the door, BIG day), and then pay date (when the share holders get the money)

dyk, usually it's 3 days in a row, but that can vary (and unless it's Korea, it's not that interesting)

dyk, I've never heard of having to wait 90 days for insurance to kick in, but that makes sense

dyk, here you pay for it in advance and then your new insurance goes into effect on the first of the month after you start a new job

dyk, it's because we are required to have insurance in MA or you pay a fine. I think the most you'd end up going without insurance would be 2 weeks - quit your job at the beginning of the month, your insurance is paid through the middle of the month, nothing for 2 weeks, new insurance starts on the 1st of the next month

dyk, I'm not positive, but I think most companies let you finish out the month in that situation
