dyk, I've been sick since I ran a 10k (plus walked 4+ miles) a couple weeks ago

dyk, I'm mostly better now, but my now whenever I blow my nose, I bleed

dyk, it's super fun

dyk, I spent 3 1/2 days last week in California for a tax department meeting

dyk, my keys wanted to stay longer so they hung out in my hotel room

dyk, I didn't realize it until 9:00 EST when I was flying across the country and wouldn't land for another 2 hours.

dyk, you don't want to know how much a locksmith costs at 12:30 am

dyk, I have a feeling that I *might* have some explaining to do

dyk, my cab from JFK home was $71

dyk, last time I took a cab from JFK it was about $55

dyk, I think there was traffic?

dyk, my expenses are approved by people in California, I'm going to go with the traffic story and hope for the best.  I think last time the guy was speeding more than this guy.

dyk, I was on a groupon buying spree for a little while and have more than a couple gym deals laying around

dyk, today I signed up for my fitness assesment that is required before I cash in on my 8 kettlebell crosstraining clases

dyk, I'm also going to activate a boxing/kickboxing 10 class voucher next week

dyk, I have GOT to get my butt back in gear and in shape

dyk, exactly one month from today I'm going to be back in Boston for the weekend and that means one month from tomorrow I'm going to be back in my old boxing class.  I can NOT look like a fat fool.

DYK what??? You haven't lost ANY weight? That was going to be my first question, until I saw your post. So weird. DYK but YAY for you on your awesome exercise schedule!!!! What are you going to do when you're done with this race?

dyk, somehow I doubt that Jennie's post-race will be anything like MY post-races

dyk, I SPRINT to the finish line mentally yelling at myself for not training and having a crappy time, give the finish line volunteer a dirty look when they say something to me (I'm SO not in the mood to pretend to be happy), look for my medal and mutter mean things about the other runners who are in my way, chug a bottle of water and try not throw up remembering why I'm not supposed to chug water 3 seconds after I finish, grab all of the food that I can while shoving a bagel down my throat, swear that I will NEVER run another race EVER again, complain about the other runners and/or their friends/family, take my smelly self home via subway or cab wondering how I'm going to walk after sitting for so long, complain about my time to anyone who will listen, and then shortly therafter register for another race

dyk, then I spend all of the time up until the next race NOT training so that I can spend miiles 10-13 wondering WHY I'm running

dyk, makes you wonder why I constantly force myself into these situations.  My thought is that one day I may learn my lesson and train.

dyk yeah... that will not be my story dyk though I will most likely complain MAJORLY about the HILL (that is apparently pretty big deal and there are tips for the cheering sections on what to say and NOT to say to runners at this point in the race!) at MILE 12

dyk a friend of mine did medifast (again) for 3 weeks then is just eating "less" and has lost 23 lbs in 28 days

dyk not a single bit of exercise at all
