dyk I think I shared pics of the kids making get well cards for my Jen-friend's dad?

dyk he has slightly improved and it seems he will NOT need to be intubated and put on a ventilator -- which is HUGE news -- as of this morning -- there was not much hope

dyk so I didn't know that Abigail wrote a letter to him inside her card -- I never even opened it it was so heavy with glue and beads and paint on the outside

dyk it said:

Dear Alisha's Grandpa, please get well soon and come to my birthday party.

dyk then she wrote our address (wrong) lol 105 Olyander
dyk the number is wrong, but I love her spelling for Oleander

dyk and then she put my cell phone number with no area code and then signed it Abi Flexa

Dyk wow good luck on the pie.

Dyk a few questions though:
Does sugar free mean just no granulated sugar, or does it exclude things like maple syrup and agave as well?
Does gf exclude oats?

Dyk that funny about Abi. Lesson learned - I'm not teaching Isabelle how to tell time.

Dyk it's really random though. It's like she knows she's supposed to turn her head left to eat, so she thinks my boob is on the wrong side and freaks out. Like crying uncontrollably (which she almost never does. She's a pretty chill baby). But I put her on my right and she latches right on and goes to sleep.

Dyk an apple crisp would be the easiest. I know you said pie, but that's a long list of demands.

Dyk you could try gf all purpose flour and see how it works for crust. Oat flour may work, but it may be too dry. I haven't done any gf baking.

Dyk but tonight I can't even put her in bed without her waking up.

Dyk so I'm holding her until I'm ready to get in bed.

Dyk it's a good thing she's so cute and cuddly.

dyk I bet that would be tasty! I know I have seen sugar free apple pie filling

Dyk I think I'm going to start laying down and feeding her in bed during the day to get her used to it.

Dyk I would have done it today but we were gone all day.
