Helen Hunt Jackson- September Poem

The goldenrod is yellow,
The corn is turning brown,
The trees in apple orchards
With fruit are bending down;

The gentian’s bluest fringes
Are curling in the sun;
In dusty pods the milkweed
Its hidden silk has spun;

The sedges flaunt their harvest
In every meadow nook,
And asters by the brookside
Make asters in the brook;

From dewy lanes at morning
The grapes’ sweet odors rise;
At noon the roads all flutter
With yellow butterflies–

By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer.

Dyk at her best, Isabelle was getting up 2-3 times a night, but once was at 9 or 10, so before I even went to bed.

Dyk at her worst, she was getting up 15-20 times. Thankfully that only lasted a week. I think it was really early teething. It was AWFUL.

Dyk now I just leave my boob out and she can latch on whenever she wants to. She's been waking up more because of teething. Two teeth through, two more to go!

DYK Ithey gave her the option of staying in the hospital during treatment or going home and being shuttled and she wants to go home
DYK she will still continue to have to feed herself with the tube though, so we will see

DYK no, she didn't tell me anything until Saturday
DYK in the beginning if the year she went to the doctor and was misdiagnosed with a fungla infection in her mouth
DYK they had been trying tons of different medications and nothing was working so she FINALLY went to a different doctor at the beginning of this month and that doctor took one look at her and sent her right to the hospital
DYK I think in her head she was going to be able to hide everything until after treatment was done- but she had no idea how long it was going to take or how bad it actually was

DYK yeah, thankfully I won't have to do the driving
DYK I did warn my bosses though that I did not know what to expect in the next couple of months and if I do go flying out of here one day, they know why
