Helen Hunt Jackson- September Poem

The goldenrod is yellow,
The corn is turning brown,
The trees in apple orchards
With fruit are bending down;

The gentian’s bluest fringes
Are curling in the sun;
In dusty pods the milkweed
Its hidden silk has spun;

The sedges flaunt their harvest
In every meadow nook,
And asters by the brookside
Make asters in the brook;

From dewy lanes at morning
The grapes’ sweet odors rise;
At noon the roads all flutter
With yellow butterflies–

By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer.

Dyk speaking of more kids, I had a dream last night that I had triplet girls.

Dyk yikes.

Dyk Isabelle is getting so big! Sometimes I miss the newborn stage. But not enough to want another one just yet.

Dyk plus, I've got a lead on a pretty big civil case. I'm meeting with the client on Friday. If we get it, and win, I could possibly pay off ALL my student loans, which would be INCREDIBLE.

dyk my boss told him I was a bull dog who would go after anyone I had to, lol.

Dyk lol I know! And I couldn't figure out what to name them because I thought their names should only be one syllable because there were so many of them.

dyk and then here's an Ellie mongtage from today:

dyk she's a little gooey. HAHA

dyk Ellie loves that Woody doll and carries him around, makes him dance, I am required to feed him snacks, haha, and she pulls the string and makes him run through all this sayings

dyk here she is just posing for me -- haha, still gooey.

dyk and then this last picture is from this morning -- I call it Cinder-ELLIE haha

dyk but if it has to happen, I am glad that it happened while the housekeeper was there

dyk it is already cleaned up and disinfected.

dyk and luckily, it is in the basement, where we do not have fancy wood floors

Dyk ew. I would tale illness over backed up plumbing!

Dyk hope that it's an easy fix!

dyk I suspect that the fix is easy but expensive

dyk but we are going to try to find a way to argue that it covered by the home warranty

dyk not sure how successful that will be.

Dyk such a sweet pic!

Dyk and you have a great natural hair color! ...but I don't know what you'd call it. Auburnish brownish?
