Helen Hunt Jackson- September Poem
The goldenrod is yellow,
The corn is turning brown,
The trees in apple orchards
With fruit are bending down;
The gentian’s bluest fringes
Are curling in the sun;
In dusty pods the milkweed
Its hidden silk has spun;
The sedges flaunt their harvest
In every meadow nook,
And asters by the brookside
Make asters in the brook;
From dewy lanes at morning
The grapes’ sweet odors rise;
At noon the roads all flutter
With yellow butterflies–
By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer.

dyk but the nurse at my friend's daughter's school called in sick as she's headed to the ER with chest pain
dyk do not blame me for that, I think it was the follow up email my friend sent
dyk so my schedule just got VERY tight as I am going to do Alisha's 9:20 and lunch blood sugar run before/after my meeting at Ney in and around dropping off Ellie, a Rx for ABi, and then picking both those things up
dyk I will be home by 12:30 though for Ellie's nap time!

dyk There are now wildfires in heavily populated areas (West Houston at Westwood Mall) if you know the area Jennie.
dyk The city of Bastrop is gone, over 600 homes.
dyk 25 houses is well to do neighborhood of steiner ranch.

I wonder if my skin sensativity is an allergice reaction of some sort
