dyk btw.... any baby names?
dyk I know it's super early... but we LOVE naming babies!!
dyk so I did just over 5 miles today with a friend who has recently signed up for the half marathon
dyk 5 miles under 90 minutes
dyk it was a pretty leisurely pace, I really need to be clocking a 15min mile
dyk we're doing a 10K at the beach in 2 weeks
dyk I am testing out the gatarade power chews
dyk here at home, to see if there are any GI complications
dyk so far, I'm good to go
dyk I have GF banana bread in the oven
dyk and am making double stacked fully loaded nachos for game night tonight
dyk the house is neat and Sean's about to clean the bathroom
dyk we're good to go for company.
dyk I have asked my brother and affair girl if the kids can stay the night with them the first night we're gone for the half marathon
dyk no reply yet.
dyk I also have chips, salsa, queso, and corn tortillas and rice to go with the nachos
dyk and a bottle of Crown.

dyk my dad isn't going to be running the half marathon
dyk I knew "something" would come up
dyk work -- conference in New Orleans that weekend
dyk I just said, uh huh.
dyk I am drinking 80-100 ounces of water a day
dyk I started earlier this week
dyk I am cutting back diet soda and replacing it with water
dyk I haven't missed soda really, I still drink 1 sometimes 2 a day
dyk I drank 40 ounces of water before our walk/jog today and it wasn't enough
dyk whew! and it was 90% humidity, my clothes were DAMP yuck
dyk okay, time to go get dressed
dyk I am in PJ pants and a tank top and that's it
dyk and shoes, haha b/c I can't go barefoot after running
dyk we are close with our friends that are coming over (same couple we vacationed with on a cruise 2 yrs ago) but um, yeah, I'm not that uncooth HAHA
DYK the kids and I made a trip to an Apple store tonight and got an iPad mini. I am SO excited!
DYK I won a $500 Apple giftcard, so that was the perfect excuse. I went in planning to buy a full-sized one, but after seeing the mini, I fell in love with it.
DYK we had a lot of fun at the Apple store, followed by dinner out, but then drove home for 45 minutes in crazy thick fog. I was so thankful when we pulled into our driveway.
